Carlos Perez

Carlos Perez began his Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) career as an Industrial Hygienist/Compliance Officer for US Department of Labor (OSHA). He moved into industry at Eastman Kodak Company where he held a number of key EHS positions in various Rochester manufacturing sites and operations in Latin America, the United States and Asia. Other leadership roles included a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant start-up, corporate assessment program, and global customer support.

He has extensive experience providing safety program development, training in multiple EHS subjects, OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance audits and evaluations of occupational health exposure. He specializes in developing practical programs for small and medium sized businesses.

He has been an advisor to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a member of the National Advisory Committee (NAC) to the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC). Carlos has represented US corporations with government regulators and trade associations in international markets.

Carlos holds a BS in Natural Science from the University of Puerto Rico, an MS in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Rochester, School of Medicine, and an Executive MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

He is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese.
